Can you mix shampoos? I ask this because I have to use a dandruff shampoo to keep the dandruff under control, but I like CON because of the slip. If I mix them, will it be less effective?

Thanks!

W-ell, you can, but I don't know that one should. I've never actually tried it. Why not just use one and then the other?

If the shampoo that you're using now is a medicated one, I wouldn't mess with it. Head & Shoulders makes conditioners. I don't know how much slip they provide, though.

Try putting the dndruff shampoo in a bottle with a nozzle tip (I use an elmers glue bottle ) that way you can get it just on your scalp. Your scalp needs the dandruff shampoo, not your hair. HTH

The only ones I have mixed were: Elucence Clarifying and Elucence MB Shampoo. Works great when you just want that little extra touch!

Great Idea. That works very well. I usually use a base bottle but the glue bottle sounds like a good idea too.

I like the head and shoulders conditioner. I rub it on my scalp like grease before I wash and let it sit for awhile. That way the active ingredient can do its thang and moisturize my newgrowth at the same time.

I have as a matter of fact I used 2 different shampoos today. My hairdresser also uses 2 on my hair. (I bring my own products to the hairdresser ;o))

Same here. One for the first wash and another for the second wash.
