Over the weekend I was in the hair store and ran across some Miss Key Products and realized one of the containers I opened was a relaxer (LYE). Has anyone ever used Miss Key hair relaxers?

Additionally, I was doing a search on line and ran across this:

http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/news/wabc_012705_mercuryskincream.html

The Department of Health has identified five products labeled as containing mercury, manufactured in the Dominican Republic and sold in New York City stores.

Miss Key Crema Blanqueadora was listed.

I used to use the the crema negra awhile back, and I liked it. The crema blanqueadora is a skin lightener, i believe.

I didn't even know that they had a relaxer. I wouldn't use it because Miss Keys is usually in Spanish with no straight directions. At least that's what I noticed with the conditioner in the jar.... :look:

I believe the skin bleaching cream contains mercury, not the hair products.
