Everyone who tries it seems to like it, but they usually do so without any basis of comparison (it's the only thing they try). Personally, it makes my hair feel very dry and dirty (like putting gel mixed with dirt/talcum powder in it) and upon rinsing, it feels stripped like I used a bad shampoo.

There is a good substitute out there, that works just as well called Bubble Up Styling Pudding - it is $9.99, but shipping the big tub brings it to $16ish - still cheaper than the Curly Pudding. I highly recommend this.

I tried it...didn't take any pics...it was a miserable experience. It took my hair forever to dry...and it was white so I had to hide it with a wig. It made my hair and scalp dry and itchy. I hate that I wasted my money on that stuff. My friend likes it so I plan to send it to her.

For those living in the Chicagoland area, there is a beauty supply store that sells Bubble Up Creme. I believe the store name is called Jordana or Jordan's Beauty Supply store and it is about two blocks west from Jeffery on 79th Street. There is a grease pit fast food store across the street from it. I hope this helps someone.

Babyblue tried it and said that it wasn't worth the money. I believe Suncypress tried it and liked it.

I've never tried it, but I have a feeling that it isn't worth the money.

I've been trying it for a few months and my conclusion is that there are other products out there that work better for curl definition and stretchage. Personally I get better results with a combination of CurlKeeper (frizz reduction) and either BnS Setting cream or Palmers Coconut gel for length retention. Delightfulflame is right about it taking forever the hair to dry using Curly Pudding.

I posted something about this last summer. The Curly Puddings main ingredients are the same main ingredients found in IC Gel with Sparklites. The buttercream is something you can whip up yourself because it's made up mostly of oils and stuff.

I liked it when I first tried it, but after a couple of tries I think my hair wasn't feeling the glycerin. It did seem to define curls and lessens shrinkage - but I get the same results with Salon Selective Molding PUtty or Loosely Defined.
