Well my hair started reverting after the intial application of Affirm Fiberguard mild on dec, 19 2003, so I went back to the hairdressers four weeks ago, and my hair turned out great, I had a few problems with dryness, thankfully everything's under control, now I keep my hair ultra moisturised, I'm struggling with my regime I found that many products which worked with my natural hair, refuse to work on texturised hair. The good news is I've achieved near waist length, aproximately 1 inch to go, but i also need a good trim I haven't had one in months. Apart from that everythings fine

Edited to say: sorry Mahalialee4 I didn't answer your question on how my hair turned out.on the first application i had a few waves and curls with frizz. The corrective turned out fantastic, my hair has defined curls, looks really pretty especially when wet. After airdrying in twists, my hair dries to a velvety texture with curls I can't wait to show everyone

I need to find someone who can take good pics, then i want to transferr to an online photo album, I've got lots to do.

Just wanted to hear you say "I'm okay and it's all good!"

Keep posting and sharing your knowledge and I am not going to bug you about pictures. I know eventually they will come.

Bonjour.

The truth is I'm so paranoid about straightening my hair, I've never worn it straight since I was a little girl, I keep worrying that me hair will be really thin looking, even though in reality its still very thick and healthy, but I can't help the obssesion. I'm in search of finding someone i can trust to straighten my hair without causing damage, i'm even more apprenhensive now since I decided wear chemicals, i wonder if i'm the only person that feels this way, even though i like my a lot hair, its taking me time to get acquainted with my new texture, everyone at home love my new look and nag me to wear it out, instead I wear natural styles like twists, because i'm still growing it out.

Ms-Kenesha congratulations on the big chop, I wish you luck on your natural hair journey, may it be a rewarding experience.
