Has anyone ever tried these products? I have to say that I've used both (they're basically the same product by different companies) and my hair grew more than it ever has. I mean my hair has alwasy been short and it hasn't grown down to my butt or anything but I definitely notice a difference! At first I avoided the "Ketty" brand because it was written in French Creole and I couldn't find anyone to tell me what it said exactly; but I quickly got over that fear and tried it after reading Miss Betty's in English. Only thing is it really stinks (wildgrowth type smell) and although it softens your hair, it is very heavy!!! Perfect for those wearing protective styles (I wear my hair braided under a half wig).

Anyone else ever try it? I'm wondering if I should put it on hold and try the Shapely's MTG....

I have heard of Miss Betty's Pousse, but I want to know where you get it? How does the product look? I wouldn't mind buying it if I could see the product.

It looks like something I could try.

I'm sorry guys, its called Betty Huttons Pousse Plus. I was never able to find a website for it. I did a google seawrch for it and both websites that had info no longer exist. I get mine from a local hair supply store in Brooklyn on Church Ave & E.18th street.
It's been around as long as I can remember (at least 28 years) and shouldn't be hard to find locally. It sells for about $7 or $8. Both are in a glass bottle and the major component is glycerine. But I forget the rest :perplexed ... I will have to go home and review the box. I'll post it later on tonight!

Here is a link with the product but it doesn't have any ingredient listing:

Okay so I couldn't find the box in the house so I had to go and buy another bottle. It says:

Betty Hutton Hair Pouss Plus

The Betty Hutton lotion is designed to slow hair loss and help growth. The vitamin E + Proline + Cycteine works against dandruff and nourishes the scalp.
Made in France

The ingredients are as follows:
Glycerin
Ethyl Alcohol
Methyl Salicylate
Deionized water
Tocopheryl Acetate
Proline
Cysteine

They also list a website: www.mgc.fr

I guess no one else has tried it . after all it took me about 14 years to give in.
If you decide to use it, let me know your results....
