I was at Kroger grocery shopping when I passed the haircare isle and, of course, had to stop and browse. (It's funny when we turn into that isle because my three year old will say "No, mama, please, no hair...!" :lachen:).

Anyway, I saw an eyecatching bunch of products called Mirra. I looked on the back and saw that they are silicone free...and also have ingredients like castor oil, sunflower oil, no parabens or mineral oil.

Here's the blurb on the Kroger website:

Designed to make hair look and feel it's best, mirra Daily shampoos and conditioners are professionally formulated to adapt to your hair's unique needs: Smoothing, Volumizing, and Color Treated. Mirra products contain sunflower extract, soy protein, amino acids, and chicory root, along with other ingredients, to counteract the harsh effects of hard water and restore a healthy PH balance to your hair - allowing your hair to reach its full potential. Styling products provide moisture, shine, and hold.*

I got the smoothing line conditioner, pomade, and gel. I can't wait to try them out. Has anyone used them? They smell really nice too. I paid about 3 bucks or so for each, though I think the pomade cost more.

I have tried the pomade:yep:

The ingredients were pretty decent for the price, but was slightly too oily.Just a bit too heavy. What i do with it is mix it with some raw shea butter and aaply it to my (natural 4a/b) hair. This is a really good combo! This will more than likely just be used during the wintertime,as during the summer heat,it may be too much.

Please post an update on the conditioners:yep:,as i have been eyeing those as well. Thanks!
