Do any of you ladies use the Miniglide in addition to the Maxiglide? Exactly what is it for?

It is a tinier version of the Maxi. It has now temp. control at all and i understand it gets really hot. Stormy had a bad experience with it.

Try doing a search...there are plenty threads on the review of it... :)

hth!

It gets too hot! There is no temp dial and that sucka singed my hair right off! They should really re-make it with a temp control. :(

Sorry to hear about your experience.

from what i saw in the infomercial, it's for shorter hair and it seemed to create wonderful flip curls.

Natrlchallenge, sorry to hear that it did that to you, that's one reason I was so skeptical to purchase it b/c I know my fine hair couldn't take it.

My hair is coarse, curly, and thick. The miniglide singed it strait. I don't recommend this for anyone. :nono: i had to cut the damaged parts off. :(

i like it, i'm transitioning and i only use it on my newgrowth. it works miracles.

i know it doesnt have temp control. im the past i my older flat iron had no temp control i was jus careful when using it. but how many strokes would you recommented about 1/2?

I have one but have never used it. Whenever I use it though, ill make sure I turn it on and off once in a while to control the heat
