Not only moisturize your scalp, but the actual braid so your hair beyond your scalpb is kept moist. Also, keep your scalp clean and lastly when the braids around the hairline start to dangle have then re-done.
Yeah, you need to moisturize and definately make sure that whoever does it doesn't do it too tight. Other than that, be sure to wrap em up so they will las longer.
i would suggest that you ask the braider not to braid your hairline. I have medium micros myself and my braider left about 1/4(quarter inch) around the front hairline unbraided. I use s curl gel activator to keep it flat. I wear my braids in a middle part, loose or in a bun and it is not noticeably that hairline is not braided. Just a suggestion, cos from experience those micros cause a thinning hairline.
