Has anyone bought this towel? It's said to be softer than cotton, and not cause split ends due to it's gentleness on the hair. I bought it with my Amla&Olive Heavy Cream. I don't like how my hair feels with regular towels, and had been looking for something a bit more "hair-friendly".

I love mine. I picked up one from Bed Bath & Beyond and I ordered one from CurlMart. They are worth getting.

I have one from Qhemet and one from Bed bath & Beyond. Both are generally the same but I think the towel from Bed Bath & Beyond is a bit cheaper.

Have either of you noticed softer hair(more moisturized), or less split ends due to gentler drying? For me, air-drying is not an option. It takes too long.

I have a microfibre turban i bought for £1. It drys your hair soo much faster. I will never go back to regular towels.- i really don't know whether its making my hair softer or more moisturised, since i began using it before i was taking care/noticing my hair.

Man, I hadn't even thought about this until I opened this thread, but I realized I don't even use a towel after I wash my hair. I squeeze out the excess water with my hands and then begin detangling and stuff.

Here's a tip! You can get these towels at Bed/Bath& Beyond, TG Maxx/Marshalls'. Also you can get them in the automotive section at Walmart's, it's the same exact thing...in fact it was softer and more plush than the ones I got at TG Maxx and lasts longer and is around $6.

It's not by Aquis, it's some generic brand I can't remember but it's in the automotive section, it's soft to the touch, I washed this thing at least 20 times and it's still as soft as ever and dries my hair superfast. Plus they had a nice array of colors too, I got mine in baby blue.

No, neither TJmaxx nor Walmart sell the Aquis brand. The Aquis waffle weave is a specialty spa quality towel. It runs from 16.00 to as high as 21.00. Qhemets prices are the lowest I've seen for it and believe me, I did price comparisons before buying it.

Yeah, 17.99 is about right.

So how fast does it dry the hair? In other words, if you dry your hair with the towel, how long does it take your hair to air-dry after that? TIA:)

It's just that you don't have to rub it into your hair. Just pat it or wrap it around once and the water is completely sucked out. My hair goes from dripping wet to barely damp after using it.

Thanks for the tip, Wal-Mart is my home away from home.

I got mine from walmart too for a couple of dollars. That was almost 2 years ago and I still have them. I love them because I just wash, put it on my hair and by the time I get dressed, it has soaked up most of the water. This is a must for those who wash and go. Q

cool.:) so maybe when my order come in, I can start air-drying again!

BTW, when I ordered, it said something about it taking 10-14 business days for delievery. If they would've said that BEFORE I placed the order then I wouldn't have ordered from there. Did it really take you guys that long to get your items fromt eh Qhemet Company?

The shipping time is posted on her website. http://www.qhemetbiologics.com/faq.php

Sometimes I get stuff in 1 week, sometimes 2, I guess it depends on how busy she is plus she runs the company by herself and doesn't have a staff.
