I just saw this on an infomercial. It looks like a safe version of the tangle teezer(jagged tip bristles causing split ends). I have a tangle teezer but I wanna try this. Anyone try it? What was your experience?

I got this because I was leery of reviews from the Tangle Teaser and Denman related to hair breakage. (I actually also own a Denman too.)
After using this for about six months, I noticed a dramatic thinning of my ends and midshaft breakage where I never had any before.
I think that for people that like to use tools in their hair, caution must be used for this product as with anything else.
No matter how careful or gentle I tried to be, I believe this tool led to avoidable breakage for my hair, which is fine, dense, longish (15-16 inches) and full of tight coils.
If you have reservations about the TT or Denman, it's my belief that this product is essentially the same thing, or possibly worse as was the case for me.
I would personally limit use to loose curls, wavy, relaxed, straightened, or thoroughly detangled hair only. It does an excellent job of detangling but if your hair is fine, dense, &/or coily, BEWARE.
I've used the "Fine" brush (pink) as well as the "Thick" brush (blue) and the only difference, besides color, is the size of bristles.
