Just curious if any ladies on here
live in the Miami Area...

I did a search and the last post
was like in 2006... so...

Where do you get your "products"?
Where do you get your hair done?

Hi,

I live in South Miami and I get my supplies from Sally's or Lena located at 160th and US1.

As far as a hair dresser, I go to a friend who does hair out of her house. I haven't found a really good stylist since moving to Miami. IMO, the majority of stylists that I have run into down here don't have a clue about haircare or professionalism for that matter. The hairdresser I go to may not be the very best stylist, but she listens well and this means more to me. I don't really don't ask for anything complicated.

I live in the Princeton/Homestead area. I buy supplies from Sally's or I make my own herbal products.

When I used to pay to have my hair done regularly (twists, cornrows, or flat ironing), I used to go to Sayblee Darsale Salon. Initially she was located in Perrine on Hibiscus Street. Last year she moved her shop to the Grove. The size of her shop has decreased but her prices have increased! You also have to pay to park at a meter or in a lot. I last saw her 3 months ago to have my hair flat ironed and trimmed. However, it's just not worth it for me to see her regularly anymore.
