STOOPID!!
I am quite pissed because I found out that my hubby thought my large squirt bottle of setting lotion was some sort of cleaning solutions. Since it didnt lather properly, he added more cleanser!! Now I havet a clue of how long I've been setting my hair with cleanser?! I am soooo peveed!

OH...MY...GOSH!!!

Did you smell any alcohol when you were applying it? You know how those clensers tend to smell.

Has your hair suffered any? When did he do this??

Yikes!!!  I am sorry to hear that your hubby did such a crazy thing. I am sure that he didn't mean to do it. :) Well thank God that your hair has not been fried or damaged. It could have been worst.

He must be  !!

I always add lots of water to sort of refill the the bottle. Even I said WHY DIDNT I SMELL ANYTHING and I guess that is why. Most times I am using different products and have many scents go on at the same time.

He said he has been doing it since I purchased the bottle, which was like 2 months ago.

No ill affects thus far, but I now feel like every hair on my head is going to be on the floor soon. Thank GOD I have been going so long between shampoos and air dried a few times. BOO-Hoo-HOO! :(:(

He is NUTZ!!

I am so sorry he did this. He needs a spanking for not reading the bottle. Or at least a

I run and keep my husband away from my hair products in the other bathroom. He was looking extra bars of soap and I was like NOOOOOOO!!!!! It's not in there. *As I go running to the bathroom and jump in front of the cabinet* :lachen:

I too am happy that your hair hasn't suffered the ill-effects from his mistake.

Oh my goodness. I'm glad you haven't experienced any negative hair issues. What cleanser did he say he added to your spray bottle?

My story isn't as crazy, but I do sympathize. Men are dumb.

My brother's hair, when he had a little fro, was always very dry. I told him to use conditioner.

So he said he did, and it was still dry. Turns out he was using shampoo the whole time and thinking it was conditioner, so he'd leave the shampoo on super-long, drying his hair out even more.

How can you NOT know the difference?

Just chiming in to say most men have no clue. Hope your hair is OK.

It's in one of those large cloudy squirt bottle from the dollar store ... u know like you'd use to spray plants so it isnt labeled.

He's like Felix UNGER using all kinds of bottles to wipe up spills behind the baby and mishaps of the dogg. This nut has added things like Oxyclean, Tide, etc :(

I caught him wiping up a doggy accident with what I use as setting lotion and he usese to disinfect. We've just been going behind each other adjusting the formula ...

Men ARE big dumb dumbs sometimes. I dated a guy who while in the shower wanted to pamper his face with what he thought was a scrub his mother used.

He put relaxer on his face ya'll!!!!!!! Didn't realize it until it started to tingle. ROFL!!!!

...I would be mad as heyel :angry2: ....those are grounds for DISMISSAL....:whip:

On a less serious note....So THAT'S what you have been using on your hair....what is it?? I want some NOW!!!! :)

Hmm...looking at your avatar is that why your hair is so shiny????

Thank goodness no ill effects. You probably would have thought you were doing something wrong if something did happen.

Spank his narrow butt!

OMG!!! Your post makes me glad it's just my daughter and I in my house!!

Looking on the bright side, judging from your avatar pic, it looks like your hair hasn't suffered any from his boo-boo!!!!

 Sorry but I just had to chuckle at this. Such a classic example of miscommunication. You probably condition your hair so well that it has not suffered any ill effects from this little accident. Look at the bright side! At least you have a hubby who's willing to clean something once in a while, lol.
I work in a laboratory where it's a big no-no to have unlabeled bottles sitting around, so I'm in the habit of always labeling any bottles that I've poured things in from another bottle. I live by myself but sometimes I forget what stuff is in my pour-off bottles. :look:

So do I!!! In fact, last week I had my daughter taking off her mascara with suntan oil (I could have sworn it was baby oil that I put in that little bottle... :look: ) She used it for a couple of nights and then told me it didn't smell like baby oil to her... sure enough... it was suntan oil...
