Girl you know good and well you did not mean south Memphis. :p

Hey - I'd be interested too! I asked this question a while ago, and apparently, Memphis folx ain't online much....

Neither of these is in South memphis. But they are both very good.

First place, I'm sorry I don't know the name. It is located on American Way in the shopping center near Kroger. My sister in law and cousin go to this place. I'll see if I can get the number later.

The next place is a lady named Veronica. I go to her because I am transitioning. She does natural hair and braids. She is in Raleigh. Her website is naturalhairstylezbyv.tripod.com

Hey... I don't know of any braid shops, but I do have several cousins who braid hair. Pm me if you need their numbers.

 It's not for me it's for a friend of mine.

Your friend will probably have to leave South Memphis and go further South to Whitehaven.... I heard that the shop on EP and I can't think of the name of it but it's kind of a round building and I think it used to be a Chinese restaurant...I heard they were pretty good.

But, no, I'd be surprised if she found any in South Memphis...:look:

I know where you are talking about I just didn't know if they were any good...i will give her directions to that place as soon as i find the name.

I know there is another one on EP in that area across the street from Burlingtons but not sure if it is any good.

Hi Memphis crew,

I just had my kinky twists done at the shop on American Way by Kroger-It's called African Braids Actions-ask for Billy 334-7404. They did my two girls hair the week before and did a great job. However-I really like my twists but I had to KEEP saying not so tight on my scalp. I checked with my girls and they said theirs didn't hurt and wasn't tight at all. Sooo, I ended up taking two aloose in the nape area because my scalp was cussin':swearing:.

:angeldevi I am really interested in a nice clean uhhhh-how u say-english speaking shop though.
