MegaTek Question

I have recently received my order of MegaTek but I'm not sure if it is more effective to leave the formula in or rinse it out?

I find it doesn't leave my hair as 'clean' if I leave i in but if it works better this way I will.

What are your thoughts?

ithink it would be more effective to leave it in but ijust ordered my very first bottle yesterday so icant say its fact.

when iget it ima leave it in for a few hours and wash it out

Personally I apply mine to my scalp and leave it in.
I have no complaints so far, it has thickened my strands this way.
Some ladies apply it as a DC......I cnt speak on the result they"ve had, all I can say is try it out for urself and see what works for u

I find it more beneficial for me at least to apply my mt every other day and only wash n con once a wk. I do not take it straight but mix with a couple of oils that way I don't have an extremely dry scalp. I also find it faster for me to apply it with my braid extensions in and then massage. The other alternate days I apply shikakai/amla oil to my scalp and massage. One moe thing is I spritz my entire head with avocado mist and baggy which keeps my hair moist! It works for me.

I use it both ways, on my scalp as a growth aid and as protein conditioner on the length of my hair. Just keep in mind that it is a "strong" or heavy protein so it should be paired with (followed by) a moisturizing conditioner for best results if you are using on the length of your hair.

As a growth aid, I apply to my scalp and leave on til the next rinse, co wash or shampoo.

Same here! I apply directly to my scalp and leave it in, no shedding here either. I've just recently begun using it again and so far, so good.

I used to leave it in until the next wash, but I found that JBCO worked better.

I use mine as a mix of Megatek and JBCO. Apply it as needed every other night leave it on over night. It does make a mess on my pillow a little bit. Use it as protein deep conditioner on the length of my hair twice monthly. Always following up with a moisturizing deep conditioner. I moisturize every other day as needed. Lately my hair has been staying super mositurized for days after applying the megatek with castor oil on my scalp, misting the length of my hair with water and glycerin and sealing with Jojoba or coconut oil. Result much less shedding and breakage. Guess my hair loves some protein.

I use it with MN and a little oil mix every other day. I have experienced some shedding not sure if its due to MN or mega-tek. However, my hair is longer, thicker and feels stronger. My ultimate shedding attack plan: I use AE 1-2 weekly to DC , just started taking garlic vitamins, added garlic oil to my oil mix and started weekly garlic oil treatments with black tea rinses.

I have not tried it as a Condish only.

I apply it to my scalp and leave it in till my next wash

I also use it as a protein treatment for about 20 minutes then follow up with a hot oil treatment

I have no experienced any shedding I have noticed a thickness in my hair tho

Leave it on until the next wash. No Problems.

Right now I'm using it both Straight and Mixed.

I have a jar mixed with M/N & a few drops of Oil and I have another Jar mixed with M-Tek & a Coffee Pomade.
