Oh that figures......I hate dr.miracle advertising. Even more reason not to buy their products.

Yes, but he was also the same perosn that founded and owned African Apride, Always natural, before selling it to Revlon.

A white guy selling and making hair care products for African Americans....I found that kind of sad....are there any AA owned hair care companies left..

Well, I have an old Braids and Beauty mag with a pic of him and his wife there. She is black.
Well this book was from 1999 or so, so they may not be together still, but she was black and much younger than him.

It says they met at a hair show. :ohwell:

Yes, I believe I read that in Hype Hair magazines and he also stated that his entire family uses the products so I figured he was married to a black woman or he is a really really light skinneded brotha.:look:

I used to really like all ways natural products back in the day. Especially the 911 leave in.

I hate his ads. It makes it seem as if natural hair is a bad thing, esp. in his relaxer ad and the girl in the ad has 3B/C hair, so if he's saying that her natural hair is "bad" the quote is something like "Ugh" then I guess there's no hope but a relaxer for ppl. with type 4 hair. :(

I agree. the ads STINK!

Speaking from experience, this stuff is such trash... Basically... mineral oil, petrolium, clove oil, and menthol... YUCK!!!

I never really used those products either, they always left my hair feeling like a big ball of grease.

I'm disappointed. I'd like to see some black women owned care companies.

Well not completely she has investorys, but Carol's Daughter and I there's African Wonders. And there are a couple of women selling natural products but they're not up to the status of a company yet. Maybe in time they will get there.
