For those of you that are doing a high protein or maybe just eating waaaaaaaaay more healthy foods, do you notice a change in your menstrual cycle? is it heavier, lighter, lighter in color, changes of ANY sort. i was curious because i am eating a higher content of protein and totally cut out sugar, fast food, processed foods and very low carb intake etc and i noticed that it is a brighter color, thin and lighter. what about you??
sorry again if this is totally tmi:eek:

I have stopped most all supplements over the past 40 days because I had a light cycle that lasted 27 days! Sort of like spotting.

Lining, well i cannt remember off hand. Hold on i may have to go a lil search for it..

I am always on a no/low cards and sugar craze. Needless to to say, lighter and less pain. When I eat whatever I want... the killer comes.

Being healthier does change your body.

and thats interesting too that you would need to take a break from them:look:
it looks like some of those vitamins need to be cut if you're trying to become pregnant. at least when that time comes i'll make it a point to ask my doctor about it. thanks again chica!!!

This is true... but in my experience it can also cause cysts :-/ when you've never had them.

This is so true.... I'll eat healthy for a while then backslide to something with loads of sugar and I start feeling like garbage.

yes i know but i also like getting feedback from real ladies on here, you know? its not as cold and you dont feel so ABnormal when talking to actual people:)

Yep...mine is lighter, more comfortable, and shorter. Eating well, exercising and MSM cause me to forget I'm even on my cycle. I don't have cramps and bloating, and my PMS is much better.

Ok, now I understand....my period was great this past month and I couldn't understand why.....now I do!

In the last 2 months I have totally changed my diet, and the last two weeks had a gentle colon cleanse and totally cut all sugar, no soda only water, more protein and fresh veggies and fruit. My body is different period.

I also cut down on some vitamins because I think that I'm getting enough through my food.

I like the fact that it has slowed down my period, since I hve fibroids. I'm going to pay more attention my next period.

yeah and eating right really helps with that! fibroids feed off of that junk!!! also, vitamin e helps with shrinking them, i think that would be correct to say. i'm absolutely sure that vit e helps alot though!
