As a few of you know today was the day of my big cut and relaxer (after 2 years of being natural)! I left an hour early because I did not want 2 b late------got loss and could not find salon, ended up an hour late had to reschedule for Friday. I was sooo upset I have a big night planned for tomorrow night and was stuck. So I decided I had 2 do something to my head...While driving home I remembered I ordered a maxiglide a month ago and never used it. This has to be the best flat iron I have ever used !!! I'm completely natural and my hair looks and feels like i just stepped out of my local Dominican Salon. It has so much shine and body it has me re-thinking the whole relaxer thing!! Now I'm leaning towards staying natural and getting a short layered bob......

Wow...I haven't given up my maxiglide even though I rarely use it, I may give it a go once I'm finished transitioning. Your results are great!!!
 
I'm getting one too. I'm going to use the 20% off coupon I got in the mail from Bed Bath and Beyond.
 
I don't know why I keep sleeping on the Maxiglide....well, I think I'm going to have to get one soon!

I used my maxiglide for the first time last Saturday. I really like the way my natural hair turned out. I used setting 3 - 4. It looked like I had my hair pressed. (I can't press hair at all) It's a keeper.

Basically my b4 is n my avatar-I clarified and did an apogee protein treatment followed by a deep brilliance moisture treatment (30 min w/ heating cap). I divided my fro into 6 section and used 911 spray followed with a mixture of jojoba & vikta oils mixed into Cantu break-free cream. I let it air dry overnight. Next morning I combed sections out and used the ion silk drops and my new buddy................. I never thought I could get my fro that straight!

I just ordered my Maxiglide it should be here on monday:grin: (or so i'm told) I ordered it for my birthday so I hope I get the same results. How long does your presses last with the Maxiglide? Because normally after I flat iron my hair if frizzes up within in hour.:wallbash: All my hard work goes to waste...

Mine lasted a week, it started to get a little poffy by day 7........Hope you like it!!
