Maxiglide MP or XP for Natural 4 a/b Hair?

So I have decided to purchase a Maxiglide, which I will be using this fall when I flatiron my hair for the first time since I have been natural.

My question is this: Should I get the MP or XP? I have natural 4 a/b hair.

I know a bunch of y'all on here have Maxiglides, so what would you suggest???

TIA!

It depends on which size you find to be most easy to maneuver, but since you hair is about bsl stretched, I would go with the maxi XP (2 inch iron). I have the first one and it takes no time for me straighten my hair.

I bought the XP two years ago and loved it. I recently bought the miniglide and LOVE it! it really gets my roots, but it doesn't have a temp. dial, i didn't miss it, but some people want to be able to control the heat. :yep:

Thanks for your reply!

Why do you suggest the XP for BSL hair?

I would think the MP would be easier to maneuver since it's smaller, right? Do you find the XP to be pretty easy to use?

How long does it take you to straighten your hair? Does the XP do a good job at getting your roots straight?

So does the XP do a poor job at getting the roots straight? That's one of the reasons I'm thinking about getting the MP since it's thinner, but I'm not sure how well it would work for long 4 a/b natural hair...

I have one and I like it. :yep: I have the smaller one and the miniglide (which I haven't tried yet). The XP is for thick hair. My hair is fine so I got the regular size.

XP get my roots very straight- I LOVE MY XP

My hair is also fine but dense (alot of strands)
