Maxiglide knock off....

Hi ladies, I saw a flat iron that was just like the maxi glide that you all describe at Sally's. It had the removable teeth and all, but it was only 29.99! Maybe you could save some money if they work the same!

Does it have the steam system like the maxiglide ?

I didn't look for a "steam system". I just saw the flat iron with the teeth. I'll have to look next time!

yeah, those have been around for a while i think....the teeth on them are much farther apart than the maxiglide (so says maxius)....you gonna try it??? can you take it back if it sucks??

I don't know if I'll try it..I was just suggesting it to the ladies who use maxiglide. I'm trying to stay away from heat.

Is it the one by ConAir? If so, that sucks. The one by ConAir has a little water reservoir that steams. Pitiful contraption though.

Sally's has a good return policy. Buy it, save the receipt, use it, hate it, take it back within 90 days.

Now, I'm only advocating it (returning it) if it doesn't do what you wanted it to do. I've only done it once. I bought a flat-iron from them that was supposed to have variable heat. It SAID so on the box. I opened it up - NOT! But I used it because I really didn't want to take it back. But it was QUITE pitiful. So, I took it back.

This iron looks nothing like maxiglide. The teeth it has are not ceramc, nor are they placed like the maxiglide's.
