on shop at home tv..right now..get both for 99.95..get it home right now for 19.99...5 payments...
i just ordered one...what the heck..u cant beat it for both irons...
 
i did use the flex pay..i paid 22.00 bucks no ship..to get it home and 4 oayments of 19.99..u can use ur bank card...or any Credit card...get it gurl..for 22 bucks right now..u cant beat it for both...
 
Beware of the miniglide. It has no temp dial. Singed my hair right off! :mad: I can't wait til my hair is long enough to use the maxiglide. Please post your results. :)
 
chile..i have a teency weency ponytial...i just brought it b/c it was a good deal..i dont plan on using until my hair grows out longer...but i will take out 2 braids to give a review on it...lol
 
Hey Asummertyme, did you get your Maxiglide yet? I called Shopathome's customer service and they told me that it's now on backorder and they wont receive a new shipment until 9/20/05. I was highly upset. I told the representative that I didnt even receive an email stating that it was on backorder. Just beware, your maxiglide may be on backorder.
 
If you go to www.maxiusbeauty.com they have a special for both irons and a few of the hair products and a case to keep the irons in for only $119.95, check out the site.

say what!! mine is at the post office..i have to pick it up..i missed the mail lady..i cant believe urs is on backorder..we ordered at the same dang time!
 
uh o..ima call customer service now...i thought that the i recieved a email, and i see that it was shipped via fed ex..not the postal sevvice...so i am gonna call them to get the tracking #...the one they emailed me does not work...i dunno what package is in the post office now...
 
Linens N' Things sells the Maxi Glide for about $79.99, I think Bed, Bath, & Beyond may carry it as well. They're probably not on sale right now in the stores but for anyone who'd rather not shop online or order you can definitely get one at Linens N' Things.
 
i just went to bed bath and beyond and purchased the maxiglide for $79 with 20% off cupon they did not have it in the store so i should get it in the mail in 3-8 days I can't wait to take this sew in down and try the maxiglide
 
i called them, and both maxi and mini are in the PO...i will pick it up in the morning and review it...Chestnut...i hope u get urs soon....

Yes, and keycode.com also has a coupon for Linens N Things for 20% off. I didn't order, I am very tempted...but after going thru the coupon and ordering process and after s/h and taxes, the iron ends up costing you about $80.81. :) I think the offer expires soon though, so if you are trying to get it at the lowest possible price, bed bath and beyond and linen n things are probably your best bet! :)

I bought mine there 2 weeks ago w/ the 20% coupon (69.47 total) here in Houston. :yay: I'll be using it next weekend:grin:
 
I ordered the set from Shop at Home, too. I think mine is at the PO now waiting for me to pick it up (except the notice I got said it was at a PO in Horn Lake, MS and I live in Memphis, TN...not quite sure what that's about and it's not exactly convenient for me.)

Anyway, did anyone order the serum and the spray stuff that's supposed to be used with it? I'm tempted to start a thread asking current maxiglide users if these are really necessary. Maybe they have those at Bed, Bath, and Beyond or Linens and Things, too? And I could use 20% off coupons for them?

I never ordered the serum and spray when I got mine. I use Ion heat protectant and coconut oil on my hair when using my maxiglide.

I used my maxiglide this weekend and I have to say yet again...... I LOVE MY MAXIGLIDE!
 
I dont understand why and how ShopAtHomeTV did not ship mine out the same time as yours Asummertyme. I am highly upset. I wanted to relax my hair this weekend since it's been 2 months since my last, but I thought my Maxiglide would be here and I could test it on my natural roots. I'll see if I can hold out for another week. My hair is in desperate need of the maxiglide. If I dont like it, can I return it???
 
o sure natural..u have 30 days to use that sucka and send it back...hold out until u get the maxi...it should be here soon...but i dunno why that happned...thats weird..
 
Maybe you should call and track it by the tracking #, I hope someone else didn't receive it. :(

just in case anyone (other than me) missed it the last time it was on sale (or more specifically, available for stretch pay), shopathome is offering stretch pay on it again... :D
