Has anyone tried this line? I think their cellophanes are called Prizm. If so, how did you like it and where did you buy it?
Thanks.

Is that the company name? Is it actually spelled Prism or Prizm? I keep thinking maybe I'm using the wrong search terms.

I posted a thread about this product a couple of weeks ago. It is called Matrix Prizms Plus. It is similiar to Sebastian but it really has a very pleasant smell. It leaves the hair with a nice shine and it seems to condition it as well. So far it is blending my gray nicely. I have used Red Brown and Neutral Brown. I plan to use a different shade of brown today. I really like it. I purchased it from the BSS store for licensed cosmos only.

Thanks janeemat.
I just purchased the Matrix Prizms Plus through ebay. I used it last night and I LOVE it. My hair feels great. I actually used the bright yellow (my hair is medium-brown) and it picked up the highlights great! I saturated my hair (almost half the bottle) and sat under the heating cap for about 30 minutes, then conditioned it (I had already washed it) and it came out really shiny, smooth. And you are right - it smells GREAT!
It is nice to have a replacement for Sebastians.

The girl at my BSS said it is their replacement for Colourshines. I havent tried it yet...$25 a bottle when my $4 bottle of Colorshowers hasnt failed me yet. Maybe I will try it one day

Thanks janeemat.

Do you think you could post the ingredients?

I was just looking at this on Ebay, too. I'm hesitant to buy though because my natural hair takes so much product. I don't know if 6 oz would be enough. Maybe the 12 oz would work. Which did you use?

Prisms is a very good product. My stylist has been using this on me for a while now. Its very hard to find/buy if you are not licensed. I have only seen it on ebay occassionaly.

I would love to use Prizms as a replacement for my beloved Colourshines...but it is so dang on hard to find! I searched online and on ebay and i might find a store that sells wack colors but no one sells the colors i'm interested in (dark blackish red, black, or blackpurple). sucks to be me....

You can purchase it for $12 at a BSS for licensed cosmo. You should be able to get 3 uses out of it.

Do you think you could post the ingredients?

Sure. The ingredients are:
Aqua/Water, Propylene Gylcol, Hexylene Glycol, and a whole bunch of other stuff that is too small for me to decipher. Maybe it would be easier if you asked me specifically which ingredient you did or did not want and I could figure it out that way.

I used the 6 oz. bottle and I think I could get 2-3 uses out of it. And I was pretty liberal with my application.
