I Purchased a 3 n 1 massage oil candle recently and I love the way it makes my skin feel sooo soft and the smell is to die for!! Well after looking at the ingredients I started thinking this may make a really good HOT!

What do you guys think? Has anyone ever used their massage oil candle for a hair treatment?

Here are the ingredients:

Soybean oil, coconut oil, hemp seed oil, apricot oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, vitamin E, frangrance derived from natural sources.

The candle I have is made by Earthly Body: http://www.earthlybody.com/index.htm

I never tried this, but it sounds good!

I don't see why you can't use it on hair.

Judging from the ingredients, I don't see why not. :yep:

I have a massage oil candle! I've never thought about using it for my hair because it gets used for other things... :look:

Shoot, I think about this all the time.
I have been waiting for someone else to try 1st but I always light one while I get ready for bed. My room smells nice and I use it on my hands and feet.
I don't know why I won't try it.
I just keep thinking they don't really have to tell me everything that's in a candle its not like its food.
I have no idea if that's valid, its probably paranoia but if you try it please post.
ETA:The Soybean oil is actually cosmetic grade soybean wax that is how the candle keeps its form, it melts into oil. I have no idea if that's good or bad, I'm just putting it out there because its not like a true oil or butter.

Okay, thanks that's good to know!!!

They also have the edible massage oil candles without the soybean oil, maybe that would work better as a hot oil treatment?:look:

Earthly Body is the BoMB. I actually use the glow oil in my hair from time to time. The Skinny Dip scent is to die for! Some dude on the street walked up and put his nose in my hair one day (awkward, but he was cute, so I didn't mind so much). I wouldn't use the candle on my hair though. Even though it's soy, it feels a tad waxy.
