Marlyn Formula 50..Any one use it?

Hi Ladies,
I've had some serious shedding issues along with dry and brittle hair no matter how many times I clarify and DC. So I ended up going to the dermatologist today to get the ball rolling to slow this shedding to a normal rate and grow back my hair. We have several option to regrow my hair, which I'm excited about but he also wants me to buy a supplement called Marlyn Formula 50. The thought of taking 6 pills a day on top of my other supplements almost repulses me, but if it's going to work...I'll do it. I'm wondering if anyone has tried this supplement and had good results? We sell this at the pharmacy I work at. The older women use this for thinning hair. I bought a bottle and took them for a few weeks. But I'm bad at keeping up with taking pills, so I didn't take it long enough to see any results. The capsules are huge though. And i think it's recommended that you take 2 caps three times daily. Way to much for me

Is this behind the counter? Can I request it from the Pharmacist? Or is a prescription necessary?

Precription not necessary. It's just a supplement, it was reccomended that I use it in conjunction with the therapy I'm about to begin. I guess it can be found either online or in a Pharmacy.
