Mane 'n' Tail vs. MTG

Mane 'n' Tail is a product line. They have shampoos, conditioners, moisturizers... etc.

MTG is the stuff that they use for horses manes.

Mane 'n' tail's original shampoo and conditioner was used for horses, but they started making more products and marketing them towards people. It's not something that contains sulfur or anything that will make your hair grow super fast.

:)

One emphasizes sulfur (MTG) and the other protein (MNT).
MTG is an oily product. The MNT product line includes shampoo, conditioner, detangling spray, etc.

Every Mane N Tail that I've seen has been sold in the haircare section at Walgreens, CVS, or a BSS.

MTG is not sold at any of these places.

I think that they both have some of the same benifits. I've been reading the mtg threads and I've experienced soem of the same stuff that the mtg users have, minus the funky smell.

While I haven't tried MTG, I sort of look at is as a "scalp treatment" as it appears that most users apply it to their scalp on a regular basis, while the Mane N Tail line provides a line of shampoo, conditioners and other products for general grooming and cleansing.

Users to seem to get growth from both, but I don't think there would be anything wrong with incorporating the MTG with the MNT line.

Some of you may laugh, but this clarifies a lot for me. I have heard so many wonderful thing about MTG, then thought hey I think I tried that in the past, now realizing that M-n-T was what I took a stab at. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

i was on another site and it said that mane n' tail was a watered down version of mtg.

from my understanding, mane n' tail focuses on hair retention while mtg promotes growth.
haven't used any yet but i will start on mane n' tail when i finish my creme of nature.

mnt does help with retention, but it also helps with growth, I wouldn't necessarily call it 'watered down' but I think that mnt works in more than one way.

I's also have to say that mnt has less (if any) of the nasty side effects that mtg has such as burn and smell

MNT retains, and incourages hair growth and strength.... i cant imagine what my hair would be like if i never picked up a bottle again.
