Does this conditioner detangle type 4a/b hair well? How does it rate with Motions Moisture Plus or ORS Replenishing Pak? :scratchch

This stuff made my hair HARD HARD HARD like BRICK :nono: I actually had to shampoo to soften my hair back up :lachen:

Motions would be the best for me. ORS did nothing for me.

I see that you make a lot of posts about different products. Do you know specifically what ingredients your hair responds to and what it doesn't like? Have you found a hair twin on the board yet? Maybe they can point you in the right direction for what products can probably work for you.

When I was relaxed, M & T super moisturizing con was my staple.:yep: It made my hair soft, strong, moisturized, and it detangled very easily. I also used it as a leave-in and as a pick-me-up between washes.

I haven't used it as a natural yet, but I hope it works just as well for me.

I have two sets of products that work fine on my hair. It's just that this board has me "itchin" for less expensive quality products that gives me the same results as my current ones. :yep:

I was doing fine before I stumbled onto this board, and my stylist won't let me deviate from my current regimen. If something doesn't work, he will let me know so I won't keep using it. I'm just satisfying my curiosity when I post questions about popular products that are discussed on this board, and
I'm really impressed with the results of those members who belong to this hair care forum. Their products are less expensive, but they get the same results that I get with more expensive products.

By the way, your hair is fabulous, and it's nice getting a response from you.

I remember you as FOTM, then you cut your hair. I like the new style. :woot:

Hi Barbara,

I really like Motions Moisture Plus. I think it works especially well when you use it underneath a plastic shower/processing cap and leave it in your hair for 20+ minutes.

I recently started using M&T Deep Moisturizing Conditioner (not the regular conditioner). I mix it with castor oil when I deep condition. It makes my hair really soft. For me, it's a keeper! :yep:

Try their "Replenishing Conditioner". It's really good. It's even better when used with the new Shampoo. It says it's a clarifying shampoo, but my hair still felt moisturized and well detangled after using it. It's been awhile since I've used it, but it's good. I used to follow the conditioner with the MNT detangler :

 Thank you for the compliment!

What I suggest you do, is look at the products that work for you and take note of the ingredients. That would be the best place to start :yep:

Only saying that cuz there are are so many different heads on this boards with different hair types, textures, and needs. When you get 50 different views of so many different products that work differently on different women, that can leave you even more confused than where you started :spinning:

So it'll probably be more fruitful to see if there are any other members on the board that uses the products that agrees with your hair and/or studying the ingredients in set of products your are currently using and go from there. For example, I'm about to stalk all the albums of everyone who said Motions worked for them :look: cuz Motions works for me...:lachen:

I really like MNT moisturizing conditioner and use it often. I turn to this conditioner whenever my hair becomes very dry.

I really like it cause it gives me great slip, but I cant compare it to ORS and I dont use Motions. I use MNT as my protein poo and con. and I know that ORS is a moisturizer that also has protein, but I use ORS as a moisturize product when my hair is kinda crunchy.

i use the deep moisturizing conditioner of mnt. as a matter of fact i used it today. it works SO good. it leaves my hair incredibly soft. i am always so shocked at how soft it leaves my hair. thats def a conditioner im going to keep around for awhile

I personally like all three :look:. But if I had to chose an order of like, I'd go MMP, ORS, MNT...I'm a fan of any conditioner that makes my hair soft and gives me good slip, I think that's why I have so many in my stash.

:yep: You are so right about leaving me "confused." :dazed: Anyway, I'll just use what I have for now. :yep:
