I have this in my stash. Years ago I used to mix it with a Pink Oil type cream and apply to my wet relaxed hair, then braid. This combination used to give me beautiful, beautiful big curls in my relaxed hair. (People actually thought they were my natural curls.)
I picked some up last year after I relaxed my hair again and tried the braid-out...but it looked pretty bad. Sort of on the frizzy side.
It might be because I think my hair was relaxed MUCH straighter back then. It will probably work as a braid-out styling cream on ladies that have their hair relaxed very straight.
By the way, I've also tried it as my "no-poo" "shampoo conditioner". Horrible results!
As a regular rinse out conditioner it is just okay in my opinion. It doesn' leave my hair as soft as other conditioners and it DOES BUILD UP in my hair.
