Managing and Growing Hair under braids

I have micros in right now so should I still be deep conditioning every week and Co-washing and moisturizing regularly to keep my hair healthy and growing ? Or is it not that important since my hair is protected in braids?

moisturizing is very important while you're in braids to keep it healthy.

I went from El to shoulder length in braids by using a braid spray daily.

i think depending upon how long you are keeping your micros in, you should not be washing and DCing that often (once a week). You will get matting real quick. keep the regimen real simple. but yes, only moisturize when needed. not too much and not too little.
