Motions makes (or made, I don't know b/c it's been so long) this product called Color Return. They had almost every color BUT black. So I'm going to try to make it myself. It's basically a thick creamy conditioner with color that deposits on your hair. I'm going to mix some BIGEN powder in Oriental Black with some conditioner... I'm just not sure what kind of conditioner to use and whether or not to use heat... Kitchen Chemists, what's your suggestion?

Have you tried mixing black rinse with conditioner? I have also seen stylist recommend runing some rinse through your hair for just a minute or two before conditioning to help refresh the color.

hmmm...i dont really know, but i think this question would be answered faster on the hair product recipe section--das where all the kitchen chemists are at...:lachen:

good luck!

Sounds like a great idea. Aveda makes color conditioners too. I use the Black Malva one on occasion.
