Making a Wig Look Less Wiggish?

I just received my wig from hairsisters. I love style (its a short bob) but how do you get the back to look more like real hair instead of feathering off at the sides (I hope I explained that right) Once my camera charges I will post pictures later. Also, what are those straps in the wig for?

you can try thinning it and trimming it to frame your face better. if it's really shiny you can try washing it. i find the duller a synthetic wig looks the more realistic it looks.
