Hi All,
After much deliberation, I did the BC today! I am sooo pleased. I got it cut at a YT salon in a shag. I was tired of extremely damaged hair due to a recent blow out, too many mistakes along my journey, post partum shedding, over processing while texturized, blah, blah. I just cannot stand the thought of damaged, brittle hair and transitioning for me was out of the question, as I am a WNG kind of girl. I am only about 6 weeks post, so I kept 2 inches of texturized ends, which I will cut off in a few months.
Today when my dear daughter (21 months old) saw me for the first time after my cut, she patted me on my head and said "nice nice", which was all the confirmation that I needed. I learned alot from the threads on this board right after my daughter was born and especially after things took a turn for the worse. Having the support of the ladies on here gave me the confidence to start over
