This is why I only let the Dominican trim my hair, they show you how much they’re going to cut before hand and will complain if you want to much cut off.
 
See there. That's why I don't trust stylist to cut my hair, especially black stylist. I don't have this proble with the white stylist that does my trims for me. She know what dusting means. I have gotten burned before, but NEVER again.
 
OMG, feels like dejà vu!!! :nono: I'm so sorry. I can't believe you're smiling in the after pic. But it'll grow back. Mine did. I wish you could learn to do your hair yourself so you didn't have to let anyone's paws into it...like me.

I love my Black people but this post is too legit to quit. :nono: I was just thinking the same thing. The only Black stylist who has done well by my hair is a woman who loves hair, period, and just wants my hair to be healthy. I'm disgusted with what that woman did to your hair, Nappystorm, but I admire your positive attitude about it. :yep: With a great outlook like that, your hair will be long in no time! :yep:
 
WOW... I am speechless...That is why I only let my DH trim my ends ... Sorry about that, but nice cut though and your hair is very thick :)
 
See this is why I dont take a mag or anything distracting to the salon cos I watch them...and I make sure they know what an inch looks like cos imma act up if they pretend to forget and start chopping away!....
 
Your new cut looks really nice. I am sorry that woman chopped your hair off though! I believe some stylists are jealous of women with long hair. Their excuse to chop is damaged ends. Why do they feel they can take liberties with your hair without your permission. This is definitely not the way to build clientele.
 
i woulda went straight ghetto on their arses! I had a similar experience, not fine. You gave an itch and she took dang near a mile! but it is cute.
 
I think they should add a math course to the beauty school programs across America. I think some stylists can't conceptualize and/or estimate 1/2 inch, 1 inch, etc. :nono:

Anyway, your final cut is very pretty. You have the face for many styles in my opinion. :)
 
Jumpin Jehosephat! Whilst unanticipated, the final cut is cute. Stylist #1 would've been pickin her face up off the floor though.
 
Wow! Not only did she chop off you hair but she can't cut, a darn double wammy! The new cut looks cute though.

Just when I was getting lazy and ready to throw in the towel and go to a friend of mines salon, I think NOOOOOT!
 
i woulda KILLED someone - thats YEARS of growth for my slow growing butt. wow - and on top of the big cut it didnt even look even/blunt or shaped - wth? you have reminded me why i dont let ANYONE trim my hair anymore. the short cut is stylish and cute on you though :)

Why do they do this? Assure you an inch and they chop off your hair.

at least you look cute with the cut! I would be pissed if that was their idea of a trim! This is why I don't trust so call stylists.

The title under my name says it all! This happened to me in January and you just got me hot all over again. Your cut looks cute and it will grow back.
 
I need to go for a trim after a year and you have just reminded me of why it has been a year in the first place!

Kinda OT, but it speaks volumes to my personality. My bff bought me a necklace w/a pendant for my b-day...the pendant was a pair of brass knuckles :giggle: :look:
 
She cut off almost a year's worth of growth!!! That's ridiculous.

I loooove your haircut, it really compliments your face, and you'll love it for the summer months ahead.
 
omg you told her to cut half an inch and she cut you from bsl to sl??? thats about 4 whole inches!!!! omg that's worthy of being ghetto cut! that lady know what half inch trim is. lets see. if you had promised her 1 million dollars if she only cut half inch you would have only had a trim. she did what she wanted to do. so dispicable. the last time i went to a stylist the same thing happened. that was their chance to prove me wrong. no more chances.But there are some stylists who do not like to see long hair on black girls and are jealous. i really do believe that.
