I tried this years ago and I HATED it, it just sat there and was a little too oily for me. I ended up giving it away. But I'm glad that it worked for you.

[/ QUOTE ] I would only hate this product if i was tryin to wear my hair out and loose and straight and bouncy and blowin and , well you get the picture, but for slickin it back , it has me like

So, for "loose and straight and bouncy and blowin" what would you use? (tryin' to get another tip out of ya

)

[/ QUOTE ] lol girl, when i press, i go lightly on oils, just about any oil, or the satin creme press lotion which is now discontinued , but i still have a little stash, which im'a lose my mind when its gone and i know it....but light oils work well too. im not even sure , using the mango butter lightly might work too though

Irresistible - the pictures look so nice. Tell me how to use the Mango Butter. I'd like to eliminate daily gel usage. So go on, tell me what you did step by step for your smooth look! LOL

I sprayed my leave in while sectioning it, I used my African Pride, that i put in a spray bottle , so i dont have to pour it over my head anymore

I got it all damp, then put the mango butter all through my hair in sections from scalp to ends , not sparingly either, which really sucks cause i got good results using alot of it, and the jar is so dang small...anway, then I combed through and brushed it back in my lopsided lookin bun
ohwell.gif
, but hey its laid though
smile.gif

im thinkin im'a be goin through these jars very easily and very quickly. its an expensive staple when not used sparingly..but i say its worth it
smile.gif

and its dry now and still laid!!!

Don't you just love how "laid" it makes the hair? That's too coincidental Irresistable. I use that African Pride (that I put in my "trusty" spray bottle) with the Mango Butter and you just can't beat the moisture and shine! I love it but I'm feelin' ya on the little container. It hasn't even been 3 weeks and I'm ready for another jar.

Does anyone know if the Elasta Mango Butter comes in..........ummmmm.......let's say a 16 oz. or larger container?

By the way, your hair looks beautiful and LAID!

[/ QUOTE ] Thank you girl.

Girl your doing good at three weeks!!
im thinkin for me it will be at least two jars a week

I just went and bought twelve of em at 20 percent off cause i got them in bulk. even though it was more like ten percent cause they had the price hiked up by a dollar.

I wish it did come in a larger size, but i havent seen it

[/ QUOTE ] lol its a guess, but i know i just used half the jar this morning....so i think its a good guess

I just got the mango butter on Friday when I purchased my line of neurtogena and I love it. The butter has my hair laid too; and it smells so good.

You are definintely talking about an excellent product. I have been using M.O.M. for three years and it is the best daily moisturizer that you can smooth on without any stickiness or clumping of hair. This creamy lotion had a mild smell, and keeps your ends from tangling around each other. This is especially helpful when you are clser to the 15 week mark for strecthing out your touch up.

I am jumping on the M.O.M. bandwagon. This product is excellent for my airdrying days. It does indeed keep the hair "laid".

Its worth it

I love the way M.O.M. smells. It smells like eggnog and whiskey. But this stuff is great because it's not heavy and greasy. My hair is soft and moisterized, especially my new growth. This is definetly a keeper.
