Deionized water, Canola Oil, Castor oil, Polyquarternium 32, (whats dat?) , polyoxyethylene (2) stearyl ether, (ok that sounds scurry lol), polysorbate 80, Aloe Vera Gel, Coconut Oil, Mineral Oil ( I dont care bout that eitha lol), DL panthenol, Sheep Sorrel, Yarrow, Wheat Germ, Slippery Elm Bark, Sage, Henna, Comfrey, Burdock Root, Goldenseal, Cherry Bark, Black walnut, Chamomille, Jaborandi (heavenly hemp), Alfalfa, Hyssop, Methyl Paraben, Propyl paraben, Imiadazolidinyl Urea, and fragrance.

ok any experts on the ingredients?? all i know is it works great!!

I just got a jar of the QP Mango Butter last week and I am in love with it! It's a nice replacement for Healthy Hair Butter. In fact, I think I like it more than HHB! I can't find it in my local Sally's (and that's all we have here, no BSS!) so I will have to stock up in June after the challenge is over!

Irresistible - the pictures look so nice. Tell me how to use the Mango Butter. I'd like to eliminate daily gel usage. So go on, tell me what you did step by step for your smooth look! LOL

I sprayed my leave in while sectioning it, I used my African Pride, that i put in a spray bottle , so i dont have to pour it over my head anymore
laugh.gif
I got it all damp, then put the mango butter all through my hair in sections from scalp to ends , not sparingly either, which really sucks cause i got good results using alot of it, and the jar is so dang small...anway, then I combed through and brushed it back in my lopsided lookin bun
ohwell.gif
, but hey its laid though
smile.gif

im thinkin im'a be goin through these jars very easily and very quickly. its an expensive staple when not used sparingly..but i say its worth it
smile.gif

and its dry now and still laid!!!
cool.gif

Thanks, Irresistble!

I think that's what I'm always missing - putting the product in from roots to ends. I usually do my new growth or my length - never both. I'm going to try this way b/c I've been experiencing some dryness and possibly more breakage in the back where I haven't been paying enough attention to keeping my hair moist.
ohwell.gif
Does suck that that jar is so darn small though!

feelin like ice cube....today is a good day!!!
smile.gif
smile.gif

must go stock up now!!!

What ingredients are in the OP Mango Butter? Does it have any petrolatum or mineral oil?

There's no petrolatum or mineral oil. Here are the ingredients:

Aqua (Purified Water), squalane (olive oil derived), caprylic/capric triglyceride (coconut oil derived), peg-75 lanolin, behntrimonium methosulfate, hexadecanol, ceterayl alcohol, ceterareth-20, dimethicone, phenyl trimethicone, mangifera indica (mango) seed butter, theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, hydrolyzed silk, serica, methylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, fragrance, fd&c yello no.5 (C1 19140)

(I typed that really fast so there may be some spelling errors.)

I saw that when I was at the BSS today. If I had seen this post first, I probably would have bought it! Please believe I will get it on my next trip.

Look at yall, slowly but surely turning me into a PJ!

I tried this years ago and I HATED it, it just sat there and was a little too oily for me. I ended up giving it away. But I'm glad that it worked for you.

Don't you just love how "laid" it makes the hair? That's too coincidental Irresistable. I use that African Pride (that I put in my "trusty" spray bottle) with the Mango Butter and you just can't beat the moisture and shine! I love it but I'm feelin' ya on the little container. It hasn't even been 3 weeks and I'm ready for another jar.
shocked.gif

Does anyone know if the Elasta Mango Butter comes in..........ummmmm.......let's say a 16 oz. or larger container?
grin.gif

By the way, your hair looks beautiful and LAID!
