Lye relaxer that is gentle on the scalp

Does anyone know of a lye relaxer that is gentle on the scalp. Can there be any such thing?

My hair stylist uses Design Essentials Lye for my touch ups. It doesn't cause my scalp to burn (and I don't get my scalp based - like I used to). She's been using this for my touch ups for a few years now. It's a keeper (unless they stop making it).

like Allandra, I used to think Design Essentials was gentle on my scalp.. until my hairdresser used Nu Expressions Lye --way better! The only thing about it is that if there isn't a stylist you know that uses it.. you can't get it because you have to have a Cosmetologist License to buy it.
