So I heard a lot about coconut oil and purchased some in Walmart. After reading the threads I realize that refine coconut oil is drying on the hair. Is there a way to make it non drying on the hair by mixing it with something? I would hate to have to toss it and waste money. Maybe I'll keep it to use on my skin and just find the unrefined for my hair. Suggestions?

You could always use it for cooking. 'Refined' makes it tolerant to very high heat.
