Is anyone still using it currently? How do you like it? What are you using it as (deep conditioner or rinse)? How is it affecting your relaxed or natural hair.

I am in the beginning stages of transitioning and have ordered lotus powder which should be here in a couple of days. I just want your opinion on it and if it helps improve your hair by softening and eliminating dryness, on both relexad and natural hair.

Thanks

no answer to your question but DAMN vin is looking soo very good in your avatar!

I think Sassy has used the lotus powder. You also can page or p.m. Henna Joy. If I remember correctly it is supposed to have a conditioning and cuticle sealing effect. --kc

I know luvhair,it is off topic but Vin is soooooo fine!!!! And his voice is like....

Anyway, thanks kasey, I'll try the pm.

I use it once or twice a month. I make a paste out of 1-2 TBS of LP and hot (not boiling) water. I like to mix it with a creamy protein conditioner. Usually Summit Mend because it's cheap and easy to find. LP works almost the same as neutral Hennalucent on my hair (stronger hair with a little less kink and bulk for a few weeks). But I like the idea that lotus powder is all natural. It smells like flowers while Hennalucent smells like sod.

And it's easier to rinse out than Hennalucent, too. I got it from everydayhenna.com.

Thanks sassygirl, I'm transitioning too. I ordered my lotus powder from everydayhenna and can't wait for it arrive.
