Lotta hair= tenderheaded?

Is it just me and what I've grown up hearing or do most ladies with long hair seem more tenderheaded?

I've never had long hair, but it's always been thick. I've been called tenderheaded for as long as I can remember. Getting my hair done used to HURT, especially at the top of my head. Interestingly enough, once I started doing my own hair, my head got a lot less tender. So I don't think it necessarily your head per say, I think that people tend to treat longer and/or thicker hair with a heavier handed touch than they do short, thin hair.

Now that my hair is growing and getting longer..My head is always tender.. I have never been tender headed but now I beg to differ.

I have a lot of hair, and I'm not tenderheaded. I suspect that I may have been at one point in my childhood, but enough detangling sessions on my long, thick hair built up a tolerance. Now, it takes a lot for my scalp to be disturbed.

I got more tender headed the longer my hair gets. I never was before. I was truly hardheaded

I think tenderheaded people end up with longer hair because people are more gentle handling their hair.

I don't know. Got me wondering. I've been tenderheaded like forever. My hair was always long up until I got control of it to do whatever I wanted. Back then I hated long hair...
