I'm due for a trim and my hair is too long for me to do it correctly in the back. I "think" i'm ready to go back to the shop after 3 years but I need to find "the one". white, black, WHATEVER, i don't care, i just need someone that can be trusted to do EXACTLY what i say. LA ladies, where are you going for your trims?

I go to Domini Salon. www.dominicanhairstyling.com

Clara usually does my hair. I have to practically beg her to give me a trim sometimes. She is not scissor happy at all. HTH :)

ETA: Only downside is she always wants me to get a rollerset too even if I have only come in for a trim. But my hair is always :lick: when I walk out of there!

This looks great!! I may just have to give her a call or shoot over a message  I don't want no rollerset, etc though. I will see if i can go with my hair already straightened.

I go to Tony's Affair with Hair in Long Beach. Tony does my hair and he always gives me what I ask for with no problems. I have also recommended him too many of my friends and they have not had a problem.

I go to Enoch at Eclectic salon. I trust him to trim my ends. Get your ends trimmed is always a nerve-wrecking process (if you want length), but he does a great job of just taking off what needs to go.

Thanks for this! SO gets his hair cut next door to Eclectic and I always wanted go in there for a trim but I was kind of afraid :ohwell:. I'll may go there for my next trim.

I have actually had 2 trims on my hair since I posted about Domini Salon but I went to Fantastic Sam's on La Cienega and the Asian woman (forgot her name) trimmed my hair. I went there because it is next to Sally's and I did not feel like being pressured to get a blowout, so I rollerset and flat ironed and went to Fantastic Sam's. She is great and trims off EXACTLY how much you want, no more! My last visit was last week :yep:

ITA. Tony has never let me down. He will take very good care of your hair.

Fantastic Sam's...for real? I've been wondering about that place. I called the other day. I think I may try them next weekend. I've dying to have my hair done and scalp massaged but not pay an arm and a leg to my usual person.
