I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Color Pulse, and if you could please share.

Want to do something a little different, but not too drastic. And I am considering this, henna, or a clear rinse. If you could tell me about or suggests either of those two, I'd appreciate that also. Thanks!

hey, i tried it not so long ago... it didnt change the colour of my hair one bit, it was a waste of time. my hair is black but maybe it will work out better on lighter coloured hair... ;)

SoftSheen Carson has one under Dark & Lovely called "color flash vibrant color mousse." I saw it in Essence on Kelly Rowland's hair. I think L'oreal owns softsheen so it's probably the same thing.

Some brands you'll probably be able to get hold of in the US for subtle colour are Sebastian Colourshines, Adore, Jazzing and Special Effects.

They don't contain bleach, amonia or peroxide so shouldn't harm your hair. Because of this, they won't make much of a change from your natural colour so the results will be subtle.

They should wash out after a while.

Skydancer, I highly recommend L'Oreal's Color Spa Moisture Actif No-Amonia Moisturizing Colorant. It washes out in 28 shampoos. I like it because it is not as harsh as regular haircolor, and it is the most effective non-permanent hair color for me in coloring the gray hair aroud my front hairline.

This stuff sucks to make it short and it does dry out your hair. I conditioned several times after and it still feels stripped especially at the top. I thought it would be less messier than Clairol but its the same. Clairol is actually better and I will be using it again.

It's too funny that this post is here.

I just got finished rinsing color pulse mousse out of my hair. For me it was a dream!!! My hair had been lightened to a light reddish color that everyone at my job loved, but i wasn't really feeling.

I am planning on ceasing the color experiments and wanted to get the blond curiousity out of my system...didn't work. I'm over it. Anyway. . .

I bought the color pulse in electric black. It looked purple going on but rinsed out to a cool dark, rich auburn black with some of the reddish highlights showing through. I am so glad to be back to my dark hair!!!

This product definitely works best on lightened hair going darker. As far as damage. . .we'll see. I have natural hair other than color. It's nice and short so should it be damaged i'll just cut it back down and grow out my natural, natural hair.

I've used the Color Pulse on my daughter's hair twice. Her hair is relaxed and a little past shoulder-length. Her hair is a medium brown color. We used a cherry red color this summer that she loved--unfortunately it came out when she went swimming (chlorine). We most recently used a plum color that also came out really pretty. Maybe the colors shows up because her hair is not very dark. She did not experience any dryness either.

I used Color Pulse today. It worked fine for me. I left it on 10 minutes and rinsed, and followed with AO White Camelia to couteract the hardness (the haircolor did make my hair matted but conditioning immediately solves that). Afterwards, my hair was nice & soft. My hair is definately plum colored. :)
