I'm natural but I usually wear my own hair in cornrows under a wig. I want to start wearing my own hair but I'm having a hard time. I'm below APL now.
I usually wear it like this because I have a long face. My wig has a side bang though.
I wanted to have something that fits my long and that I can wear for 3 weeks or so and not have to do anything to it. The toughest time I'm having is that I feel "plain" when I wear my own hair. I always feel like I have to wear extensions to feel glamorous. I also feel like my hair has to be down to feel glamorous as well.
I was thinking of trying this. They look like crochet braids in the back and cornrows in the front. The volume of the hair would balance out my face.
