ladies, why are you buying satin pillow cases online? jcpenneys, valu city and other department stores have them. the ones at valu city are cheap. it was even better than the one i bought from amazon.com for a higher price. just go when they have sales and stuff

:look:

ITA. After you pay for shipping, you could have drove right up the street and got it for less. I actually bought me and my daughter some satin pillows at the Family Dollar store. So far, so good.

I agree.

But, I did find some pretty vintage ones on Ebay that are nothing like what I find in stores. They seem nicer and softer and have some details that I like.

But, for just regular ones, I will just buy retail.

Well I thought they were nice. I also sent an email to the seller asking about the fuchsia because I thought it was red and that was the color I wanted. they emailed me back saying they would swap the color to the red. I also asked about lacy ones they said that lace could be added if I wanted I was told they could be made to order. I'm adding black lace to the red one because my daughters bedroom is red and black.

Whether you buy on ebay or at a store, make sure you get a good deal.

One other little suggestion, the satin pillowcases with a zippered closure are so much better than those without. The ones without zippers slip off the pillows very easily at night.

Bed Bath and Beyond has them too (I got 4 sets) in something like 8 colors. They're thick, they're very soft, very nice!

Plus they always have those 20% off coupons in the mail.
