Longer hair don't wanna hang right?

It seems like the longer my hair gets the harder it is for me to get my hair to hang straight without some type of wave look to it (I rollerset).

My hair is really thick and I'm greatful for it! But it seems like each section of my hair has its own idea about how it wants to hang.

When I take my pics, my hair don't hang straight it have this funky wave to it :ohwell:

Some parts wanna flip up...some parts wanna flip down.

I wanted to take progress pics today but it's hard to get my hair to hang straight. I'm about to just resort to taking progress pics with a Caruso set and pulling a piece of my hair so people can see the progress.

Is being b/t SL and APL just an awkard grow phase or something? Or is my styling technique off?

working on uploading a pic now...

I thought it was just me! My hair is a weird length, like between shoulder and collarbone, and I am trying to get to APL. The back hangs down, but the part in the front and sides kinda do their own thing, and wind up curling over and it just makes my hair look a hot mess. I guess it is time for protective styles until the next relaxer.

I don't think here is anything wrong with what you are doing, I think it is just an awkward length; we need to get to APL quick!! :)

Hope some others that have been in this spot chime in!

Thank you Tricie! I'm glad to know I'm not alone on this one. I spent so much time rollersetting and then when I took it out I was like :wallbash:

I definitely remember my hair doing weird stuff like that when it is was about that length. After taking my hair down from a wrap, I would have to bump my ends with a large barrel curling iron to get my hair to hang right.

Well I will be Carusoing until my hair's multiple personalities get themselves together :lachen:

I am at this exact length right now but my hair is slightly bigger:lachen:It does act really werid at this length and cant explain why.
