Locating :\"Dominican\" Products in Houston, TX

"Dominican" being products used in DR salons or made in the DR.
I will be traveling to Houston, Tx this weekend and thought hmmmm

I have truoble finding all the "raved"

(NACIDIT,apretadora,Germen De Trigo,etc.) products in Atlanta. Perhaps west, yes I will look out west.

Someone contacted Mimor (the East Rutherford, NJ based distributor of a lot of Dominican products) and was told that they are opening a warehouse in the Houston or Dallas/Ft Worth area. I tried to find it for you, but there are sooo many Dominican product threads...

In case anyone is interested, here is a link to a couple of online stores that carry Dominican products:

http://www.ethnicsoul.com (They carry Honey & Almond, Lafier, Wheat Germ and Superior De Greit Oll brands)

http://www.metrobeauty.com (They carry Salerm; it's from Spain, however, it is used in many of the Dominican Salons).

I haven't found an online store that carries Nacidit or Miss Key (two popular Dominican products).

Has anyone ordered from ethnicsoul.com? I tried to place an order with a credit card and got an error message. Something about scripting and applets... I e-mailed them my order and was told to call them (not a toll free#...) because my billing and shipping addresses are different.

I called Monday or Tuesday and left a message and haven't heard from anyone yet. I shouldn't have to hound them and beg them to take my money!

This is making me nervous. My credit card info is floating around in cyberspace somewhere...

I would be e-mailing them non-stop until I get a response. Make sure you keep records of the e-mails too.

IMO, If emailing becomes that obsessive, then the company is not worth it. They don't need or deserve the business I think.

Okay, okay. But I'm just speaking from my broke college point of view. I would hate it if they charged something to my credit card and I didn't recieve it. I wonder if the site has secure ordering?

Thanks ladies. I guess I'm the only one who has tried to place an order from this site...

The e-mail said my order would be cancelled if I didn't get in touch with someone my 8/25. I'll call them one more time. After that I'll give up. I'm not leaving my address and credit card # on an answering machine.

The Spanish/Dominican products I saw on the site were BPT, Lafier, Henna Queen and Superior Greit' ol 9 en 1. There may be more, but those are the brands I recognized from my harassing people that live in NYC.
