I wonder if the material used to make the rag curls would break AA/Curly hair textures? Esp. since that's why we wear satin on our heads to sleep & this would be purposely using a cottony fabric to style our hair.
 
Yes that what I thought at first, but then I realized that you could use satin or some other fabric that's smooth and silky and that won't pull on hair.

Hey Nay,

Actually, a couple of months ago I made covers for my sponge rollers (just sewed up some satiny-like fabric to fit over the sponges) and I use these because they are pretty comfortable, and I believe they are okay for my hair.

I had been hearing a lot of references to the pincurls and was just trying to find out a bit more about them. Perhaps, one day soon I'll try them!
