Light Brown & Gold Highlights ...

*sigh* I WANT and plan on getting them done. For those of you who've had your hair lifted with little to no ill efects, AND it has been a few months or more, what did you/your stylist use? Thanks!

when i was natural, i used to get my hair colored every 6 mos. with a golden color from dark and lovely. i dont know what "lifted" means (are you talking about bleaching?) ... but when my stylist would color my dark roots, she would have to leave it on longer than the box suggested and sit me under the hair dryer so that the color would take.

Thanks for the reply Vangrey. I want low and highlights so we are thinking about using Wella/Colson Perfect w/30 vol developer. We are still consulting about it. I am just curious to see what others are using and what were the ill after effects if any.

I've had golden brown highlights for several years now. My stylist uses Wella, the color is 7RG. I've never had any trouble maintaing them, or experienced breakage. I deep condition weekly, and do weekly light protein treatments.
