LHCF NYC Meeting Was Great!!!!

I want to thank Beana and all others who put this meeting together. It was nice to put faces to all of the screen names that Ive seen on this board since I joined in May. We had good food, good conversation, productive networking, and we shared a lot of tips on hair, skin care, beauty, etc. I also scored some great products that I cant wait to try out. I only hope that we will keep in touch and get together more often to socialize and to encourage one another on our hair journeys....Thanks again sistahs...

I'm glad you had fun. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it because I fainted right in the middle of the beauty salon when I went to get my hair done.

All I remember was getting up from the dryer to ask the stylist if she could do my hair before someone else because I had to get going to the metting and also that I wasn't feeling good and the next thing I remember was being picked up off the floor.

I was just discharged fromt he hospital a little while ago. I'm very sorry, ladies. I really wanted to go.

The meeting was a blast and it was great to put names to the faces on the board! Everyone was incredibly nice and friendly, just like on the board. I also scored some things that I can't wait to try. Can't wait for the next one. Our waiter was a little curious about all of the hair products and thought that we were hair stylists or something - it was very funny.
