does anyone use it?
i just brought some, and i love the way it slicks my hair up for my buns....but i dont hear of anyone else using it...

I used to use this a long time ago. Just in case, I'd be sure to not leave it too much without washing. Treat it like a regular gel even though it doesn't seem like one.

i used to use it when i was younger. now i use the elasta qp glaze. ill prob go back to lets jam b/c its cheaper

I used to use this back in the day too!

If I remember correctly, it kind of smelled like candy.

I don't really use gel these days.

I used to use it waaaaay back when. I liked the shine it gave me when I wore slicked back styles or updos. I hated the way it felt on my hands though. I haven't used it since I graduated from college but I don't remember it having a bad effect on my hair.

I used in college. Then I switched to Elasta QP glaze and now I use Garnier Fructis Fiber Gum Putty. Out of the three the Putty hold better but I think you get a bigger jar of the Lets Jamm.

I use it faithfully. I have been wearing my hair up and I love it. It's not sticky and it does't make your hair hard. It's like I have nothing in my hair but it works for me.

What is funny is that my mom ordered some books online and the UPS man delivered the book AND a whole case full of Let's Jamm gel. LOL....So I have Let's Jamm for days. I been giving it out and everyting. I have at least 12 jars.

i use it every other day. I love how it slicks my hair down

They also have a let's jam lite (which i prefer) but is harder to find.
I also use this on my daughter's hair and it does it good job @ smoothing her natural hair out

Let's Jamm lite is the one that I have the case of. I still wonder who in the world ordered a case of this stuff but it had no name on it.

I have some on my hair right now. I have been using on and off since Jr. High. I use whenever I pull my hair back.

I use it a lot to slick my hair back, it does leave a buildup, but it makes my ponytail look super smooth.

Same here.

it doesnt hold long. initially its fine, but as soon as i left my house my edgese would be poofin back up and id have that ugly residue. i need something to hold my edges down, but not mak my hair hard like gel

I stopped using it, I heard it caused breakage, my stylist at the time suggested EQP Glaze, at this point in my life the only gel I'll be using is Aloe Vera Gel, gives great hold, moisture, and promotes growth....

<font color="purple">I used to have my hair slicked back with it back in the 90's. I would rather try either KeraCare holding gel or the Fructis putty to tame the front hairline for ponytails and buns.

BTW, LJ feels like rubber cement on your hands when you applied to your hair. Weird, huh?

yeah, it is weird..maybe i will rty some other products and test them out as well, i cant afford any breakedge..

Yes, I remember back in the day, Let's Jamm was one of these products rumored to cause breakage. I have never used it because of this. It has been around sooo long. I think if it is washed out frequently, that there should not be an issue. But if you are putting Let's Jamm over Let's Jamm day after day w/o a wash, that may be (and probably was back then) the problem leading to breakage.

I use to use this...but it wouldn't work for days that were really humid ir passed 7 weeks or so.....I switched.

I've used Elasta QP it was ok ...but need something more.
Vonte's works better for me until after 8 weeks...then I switch.
Just discoved Fantasia IC ICE ( likey very much...10 weeks and beyond, great results) GREAT! Shine....I wanted for airdrying

whats the diffrence in the cosistancy beyween jamm, and the other u guys have suggested...i can see whay jamm would cause breakedge...it dosent harden the hair...is there some killer ingredient i dont know about?

My daughter has been using the Let's Jam all summer. She CO washes her hair every day, so build up isn't a problem. She loves this stuff!! I also used it for my loose air-dry style when I was on vacation in June, and it worked great!! It really controlled the frizz!!

I think it's fine as long as you're washing it out at least every 2 days or so, and not just piling more &amp; more on for a week w/o washing your hair.

That stuff is a little too thick for that.

My sister got breakage from using it. I believe it is because she wasn't washing her hair enough.
