How do you put them on? I just got a Lava Tech dryer, it works great, no hot spots, dries evenly, but I have the hardest time putting it on and have it not mess up my rollers.

Does anyone else have this problem? What's your technique? Please share. :D

Does the cap have a drawstring? Mine does, so I just expand it as wide as possible then pull the drawstring after I have it in position.

I would stretch it out as far as it could go and then put it on from front to back while keeping it open at its max width

Tighten up a little bit and then turn on the dryer...

Yes, it does have a drawstring. I think what I must not be doing is keeping the sides as wide as possible...

Thanks!

My bonnet has an elastic drawstring that allows me to easily cover my rollers. As a precaution, I cover my rollers with a hair net first so that I don't accidently "bump" them out of place as I am covering them with the bonnet.

I always first tie my satin scarf over the hair and leave it there. Then I put the hooded dryer over. I leave the scarf there even during drying. It keeps the rollers in place during put on and take off of the hooded dryer. I also do that when I'm drying my hair in a wrap. That way if the phone rings or something I can turn off the dryer promptly and yank it off without messing anything up.

What all the other ladies said...
AND cut the dryer on AFTER you have secured the bonnet cap over your head. Its easier to put it on when there is no air flow going through it.
