I'm a natural 4b (no curl definition) and I have done 2 treatments with Dream Hair BKT so far. The first treatment my hair wasn't silky and SUPER straight but VERY soft. After my 1st wash I knew this treatment was for me! No tangles after shampooing just soft, hydrated hair. Doesn't seem like it lasted too long because I felt like I needed to do another treatment 3 weeks later, so I did. This was even better. It turned out silky, soft and super straight with lots of swing. So far with weekly washing and a couple of cowashes thrown in during the week it's holding up very well. How long it lasts really depends on your hair. If it's damaged or really porous, it will last longer. Also not using products that strip it off will make it last or how often you wash/cowash. I will say on your type of hair don't expect it to last longer than a month after the 1st treatment. That's why many of us do it ourselves because going to get this $300-$400 treatment every 1-2 months is not realistic.
I will say don't give up after the 1st treatment if you don't get the results you want. It usually takes 2-3 treatments to get lasting full effect on natural 4b-z hair. I am expecting my 3rd treatment to be even better. You should however see the effects of no tangles/softness immediately.
Also, BKT has given me some curl definition and nice waves. I don't know how but it does and it's nice! Keeping in mind that this is what Dream Hair BKT does, I have not tried any other brands and don't have a desire to. HTH
Did your Single Strand knots, tangles etc immediately disappear AFTER you washed out, while rinsing in the shower? …or did you have to apply heat?…I’d REALLY like to skip with the heat part, and honestly if it weren’t for the that part than I’d do it without hesitation!
Also, when your hair dried…did you have tangles? (before you applied heat)
