Avoid products with glycerin if you live in dry or cold weather environments. Cowash often. Moisturize and seal with a good oil (some even use crisco in the tub for eczema). Wear silk scarfs to prevent your hair/scalp from being exposed to air and drying out.
OMG, you ladies were so right! Out of desperation, I decided on the spur of the moment last night to dc/plastic baggy with olive oil on my hair(I tried the homegrown steam thing, but all I had was like 2 plastic baggies and a towel so I'm not sure it worked...I'm gonna try with all required materials next time lol) and left it on until like 10 minutes ago and my hair feels sooooo much better! The difference is amazing! I'm so convinced now that oil treatments are just as, if not more, healthy for your hair as regular DCs! Off to KeraVada on etsy to check out some oils
